On Good Friday, Cuenca was a ghost town. All the busy streets had little traffic. You can see the sparse traffic in the first video. There were few taxis on the road and the bus wait was not bad but triple the normal amount of time. Fast forward one day and in the second video you can see the city’s back to normal with lots of traffic.
I love using my camcorder on my walks. It’s fits in the palm of my hand and the HD video writes to the SD card making it very portable and very inexpensive to record video.
I’m using screenflow for all my video edting. It’s much easier to add music, titles and manipulate the different audio levels in the movies. .
If you’re not a Mac Geek then Screenflow will be of no interest to you. It is basically the best screencasting, video editing combocasting program around. What will be of interest to everyone who reads this blog is how I recorded the video and then added original music( which I created using Garageband), voice over, text and annotation. I’m in the learning mode so get ready for some better productions in the future.
The 2:30 video below is about my walk to the barber shop and what I encountered on the way. Basically I treked through 4 Cuenca Barrios without walking through El Centro.
